19th Century French Ormolu & Cobalt Blue Glass Candlesticks
PAIR OF FRENCH CANDLESTICKS
An unusual pair of gilt brass (ormolu) candlesticks. Probably of French origin, they have round loaded plinths with foliate detail and attractive bulbous cobalt glass columns which support traditional shaped urns.
The plinths are stamped with a maker’s mark that possibly reads M.I.F (or similar), which is currently unidentified.
