19th CENTURY TEAL GLASS DECANTER
A stunning 19th century teal cut glass decanter with a vintage clear cut glass stopper. The decanter is a more bulbous version of the ‘mell’ shape of the early 19th century. It is hand cut with a polished pontil scar on the base.
Age: early 19th century
Condition: Two patches of the surface have some slight flaws like ‘pitting’ – on the shoulder and around the top of the neck. The replacement stopper has damage to the bottom – see photo. There is a small chip on the lip of the decanter, again see photos.
