ANTIQUE BRONZE CEYLONESE BOWL
A late 19th Century, or early 20th Century, cast bronze Ceylonese (now Sri Lanka) bowl, highly decorated with beautiful depictions of figures, foliage and flowers. The base is slightly convex. Being made of heavy cast bronze, it is equally useful as an excellent singing bowl.
The bowl would have probably originally have sat upon a small triple elephant plinth for support. The base has a central disc of brass incorporated into the casting.
Condition: Good, aged patina. It has tarnish, some verdigris spots. The interior is more tarnished.
