ORIENTAL CLOISONNE BOX
A pretty antique Chinese cloisonne lidded table box (not hinged) with an unusual deep pink background colour. The decoration features a largely foliate theme with green, blue, red, white and pink colours and a charming central panel to the lid of a Mother instructing her children.
Date: Circa early to mid 20th Century.
Condition. Good functional condition. There is some crazing and cracks to the finish of both the lid and to the base. The metalwork is heavily tarnished. There is a chip to the turquoise enamel on an internal corner of the base.
