INDO-PERSIAN SILVER BOX
A small antique Indo-Persian octagonal silver box. Charmingly decorated all round with animals including a horse, bison, birds, big cats and an elephant all set within colourful foliate detail. Charmingly designed with a domed lid and blue, green & red enamels. Possibly a small betel nut box or a multi-purpose trinket pot. No maker’s marks or silver marks.
Date: Late 19th or early 20th Century.
Condition: Fair condition. The box has been left uncleaned and the silver has tarnish all over, more pronounced on the underside. The enamel is in fair condition with just a few little areas of colour absent.
