ANTIQUE POTTY FROM THE PACIFIC STEAM NAVIGATION COMPANY ~ Minton
An antique earthenware chamber pot / potty that would have been housed in a commode and used on board one of the Pacific Steam Navigation Company’s ships. Made by Minton between 1891 and 1912. It has the Minton backstamp and various impressed numbers and marks on the base.The potty is transfer printed in black with the company’s logo and a decorative neo-classical style pattern around the circumference.
A good piece for a collector of nautical memorabilia. Do you need a replacement potty for an antique commode? It would also make a perfect plant pot holder!
