Synyer & Beddoes, Chester 1911
GEORGE V SILVER TRINKET BOX
A pretty George V silver trinket box dated 1911. Made by Synyer & Beddoes this lovely box has a bow front, engraved top with blank cartouche and sits on four foliate design legs.
Internally it is lined with green velvet on the base and sides.
The base rim on the underside is stamped with the makers mark and the Chester Assay office date for 1911. There is also a mark of Janson & Scowen – clock makers and gold & silver dealers who were possibly the retailers, who has an office in Mussoorie, India.
Date: 1911
Condition: Good condition. No major damage or dents and the lid shuts accurately. There are a couple of very slight dings on the lid which are not very obvious.
