A small & decorative silver plated on copper Middle Eastern bud vase, possibly Persian.
This pretty little vase is heavily worked with repoussé foliate detail, the square section stem of tapering form, each face having a flower topped stem, over a bulbous base with four large flowers of alternating direction, supported by a plain but tapering square plinth.
Date: Probably early 20th Century.
Condition: Fair. A lean to the stem and a slight wobble on the plinth. A fair degree of silver plate loss with copper bleed showing through.
