ANTIQUE SNUFF BOX
A delightful antique treen snuff box, probably walnut wood, with an inset George V sixpence depicting the head side, possibly silver. The box may be older than the coin, possibly early 19th century. The coin may have been added later by an owner.
Condition: Lovely old patina, rubbing to the coin so some detail is lost on the King’s head. Hinge works, but not a very close fitting lid. Small indents around the coin where the hole was chiselled out to insert the coin.
