ANTIQUE SOLID SILVER MUSTARD POT & SPOON
A very pretty sterling silver mustard pot with a cobalt blue glass liner. It has a hallmark for Birmingham 1919. The maker’s mark is unfortunately unclear. The dainty scallop shell shaped spoon is Victorian and by James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield, for the year 1891. Could be used as a mustard pot as well as a salt cellar.
Condition: Good, the mustard pot lid has a couple of small dents on the edge, and some tarnish marks here and there. Glass liner has some flaws in the base and I cannot remove the liner from the casing. The spoon has a couple of tarnish spots in the bowl.
