SILVER CLAD DECANTER
A very fine George V liqueur decanter with a silver base.
Of beautiful shape with canted corners and exquisite foliate engraving all round including the exceptional stopper of similar canted shape.
The silver work is very highly detailed and finely worked with foliate design and a panel on each of the four sides with different tavern type scenes.
Imported by jeweller Adolph Barsach Davis of Queensway, London and hallmarked for the London Assay Office, Sterling silver (925/1000) dated 1929.
