18th CENTURY CREAMWARE ENTRÉE MOULD – sweetcorn
A rare Georgian creamware jelly mould in a sweetcorn pattern, probably used as a garnish mould. Vegetable jellies and fish terrines were often made in small moulds and served as a garnish to a main meal. Impressed with the number 8 on the base.
Age: C. 1790
Condition: Very good, short hairline crack on edge – see photos.
