A magnificent pair of William IV Sterling silver serving spoons.
These spoons are beautifully designed and worked. The bowls are engraved with a foliate design, the twisted stem leading to reticulated terminals again with leaves and foliate detail.
They are presented in the original box, with beautiful rich red velvet in great condition.
The spoons are clearly hallmarked for London 1831, with a makers mark of CL which is possibly Charles Lias of London.
Date: 1831
Condition: Mint. These spoons have rarely been extracted from their box during the last 188 years. Totally free of damage, dent, repair or monogram engraving.
