A rare Victorian 6 oz Lewis and Towers ‘Flask’ cobalt poison bottle, rounded rectangular shape with hobnails on the sides and the edges of the front, embossed Poisonous and Not To Be Taken down the front. Embossed with 6 oz on the base. The registered design number of 590540 is on the back near the base. The bottle has a shear top that has been partly ground, no stopper.
Condition: It has some surface ‘sickness’ (a matted whitish patination from being buried in the earth), no chips.
