INDIAN ENAMEL INLAID POT
A pretty brass lidded pot/box with enamel decoration.
The lid is decorated with red and blue enamel around the exposed brass foliate features.
The body of the canister has tropical birds and further foliate features in the same colour scheme. The lid edge is purely blue.
Date: Early to mid 20th Century.
Condition. Fair condition. The lid closes accurately and tightly. Not cleaned in recent history, it has tarnished inside and out. Close inspection shows that there are numerous small sections of enamel missing.
