VICTORIAN PRATTWARE POT LID – Dr. Johnson
A delightful Victorian Prattware earthenware pot lid, transfer printed with a painting entitled Dr. Johnson. (Dr. Samuel Johnson wrote the first English language dictionary published in 1755). The pot lid has been framed in a circular wood frame which has been painted black. There is a hanging loop in the top rim.
Condition: There is a chip on the rim and a small fleabite to the surface with crazing to the glaze.
