ANTIQUE STATIONERY BOX
A lovely small Victorian yew wood stationery box with four slots and a sloping lift up lid. Inside is a paper label for H. T. Cooke & Son, Warwick, who I believe were a publisher of local postcards and a guide book to Warwick and known as Henry T. Cooke. Ideal for storing postcards and small stationery items on the desk.
Age: 19th century
Condition: There is a slither of wood missing from the edge of the base. The wood has a lovely old patina and there are a few old worm holes on the back. Some pencil marks on the bottom that may be a scrawled signature.
