PAIR OF BRONZE CANDLESTICKS ~ £80
A vintage pair of bronze candlesticks in the late Victorian manner. The square plinths are nicely cast with good detail and feature a faun head on each side. The baluster columns support a square bobeche (wax drip tray) and an urn shaped sconce.
The last picture has been taken outside in overcast daylight and gives a better representation of the actual colour.
Date: Mid 20th Century in the Victorian style.
Condition: Good functional condition. I believe that the bronzed finish is a ‘patinated’ effect, but they are a great colour.
